Junior Yacht Club

The Junior Yacht Club represents the junior membership of the Huntington Yacht Club. Its elected Board; Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Commodore, Secretary, Treasurer and Fleet Captain, with guidance from other Senior committees, plan, coordinate and implement various fun family activities throughout the year to benefit the membership youth. As an integral part of the Huntington Yacht Club, the Junior Yacht Club represents the future. Through its programs we hope to instill the virtues, honor and traditions of yachting to the junior members of the Club.

The Junior Yacht Club has been responsible for implementing a new recycling program this year. The Officers were the Color Guard at our 2004 Commissioning of the Huntington Yacht Club. We have also enjoyed or are planning fun activities including "Movie Nights," bake sales, "End of School Party," and other Holiday and fun social events.

This year's calendar is filling out nicely due to the hard work and dedication of the Junior Board's members and families. We look forward to your participation and ideas in future Junior Yacht Club endeavors.
