Seeking new members

Please note, the Huntington Yacht Club is seeking new members who presently are not members of any club or who may be a member of another local boating club not providing moorings to it’s members. Huntington Yacht Club has reduced the cost for it’s “A-1 membership” by instituting a new program as follows:

Any one approved for an A-1 membership will be charged $1,500.00 per year, plus eleven months of restaurant minimums at the additional cost (credited against food consumption) of $175.00 per mos. No other charge for membership or associated costs will be incurred. There will be no assessments for the term of this membership. Such members will be able to use the pool, dinning facilities, bar, have parties and participate in clubs events. All mailings etc., will be provided by the club.

This form of membership will enjoy most of the benefits of membership accorded to other club members with the exception of voting privileges, annual dock assignments or equity in the club.

This form of membership is available on an annual basis for three consecutive years but, is available only to those individuals who have never been a member of the Huntington Yacht Club. Anyone accepted before the 2003 boating season will receive a free mooring for the balance of the 2002 season and only be responsible for monthly restaurant minimums.
