About HYC

The Huntington Yacht Club is a 110-year-old club with a friendly family atmosphere. It has social, cruising, racing and fishing programs that provide its members with opportunities to participate in the activities that suit their boating and social styles. Members can attend as many functions and events as they like, or just relax on the decks of their boats.

The club encompasses all the aspects of why boaters join clubs. The physical facility is nestled midway down on the eastern shore of Huntington Harbor. There is a charming clubhouse, secure parking for your land cruisers and safe and secure docks and moorings. We enjoy reciprocity with all the yacht clubs in the Yacht Club Registry. This gives members entry into some of the best yacht clubs all over the country, from the east coast to the west coast.

The Huntington Yacht Club is steeped in a tradition that creates a friendly atmosphere. The family atmosphere is amplified by the Olympic-sized pool and experienced guard staff. Swimming lessons are available from the staff for the young swimmer. The pool is a center for many social activities ranging from pool parties and barbecues to informal gatherings of family and friends after a day of boating.
